ABOUT

     Lisa Dodell is a filmmaker and production designer based in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated in 2025 from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Film & Video. Her focus is in narrative fiction, making work that is typically absurd, colorful, and bizarre. Her recent achievements include being selected for The Gotham EDU 2025, winning best film at BRIC Youth Media Festival for her dark comedy short 'Tough Luck, Buttercup!', and premiering her nonfiction short 'Leslie' at DOC NYC.
